Updates and the App Store edition
This download is the website edition and uses Stripe for new purchases. The Mac App Store edition uses Apple purchases and receives updates through the App Store.
The website edition checks for signed updates automatically while you use Safari, including when the Bleepster app is closed. Updates download and install automatically. You can turn this off or choose Check for Updates in Bleepster. Reload your YouTube tabs after an update.
Using version 1.19.3? Download this version once, quit Bleepster, and replace it in Applications. This enables automatic updates for future releases.
Before you start
Bleepster works on youtube.com in Safari on Mac. It needs an internet connection and usable captions; it does not filter the YouTube app, other websites, violence or adult themes. Filtering accuracy depends on caption quality, language and dialect.
Caption text is sent to Bleepster's AI service after your consent. Audio is never recorded or uploaded. Read the Privacy Policy or contact support.
